Meet Dr. Cree Kofford

Dr. Kofford is passionate about oral surgery and providing unrivaled care to his patients. From an early age, he was taught the value of pursuing excellence. In dental school, this motivation allowed him to be inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity a group reserved for those who graduated at the top of their respective dental class. Following dental school as a sign of his commitment to providing the very best of care to his patients, he chose to spend two extra years obtaining his medical degree (MD) at the world-class oral and maxillofacial surgery training program at the University of Louisville, where he was mentored by leading innovators in his specialty.

He has a particular interest in dentoalveolar surgery, corrective jaw surgery, dental implants, and bone grafting. While serving as chief resident Dr. Kofford developed a love for the integration of technology to provide a more predictable and minimally invasive form of common oral surgery procedures. He feels these methodologies can shorten the course of treatment so that patients can replace missing or damaged teeth as quickly and comfortably as possible.

When treating patients, Dr. Kofford feels that his background as a physician, as well as a dentist, gives him unique perspective. He appreciates how intimidating it can be to trust someone with their care and does not take that privilege lightly. He focuses on effective communication and education to help make his patients as comfortable as possible.

Outside the practice

In his free time, Dr. Kofford enjoys supporting BYU athletics, his alma mater, and spending time in the beautiful Colorado mountains with his family. He also is an avid fan of the TV show The Office and can quote lines from nearly every episode. He and his wife Megan have three children.
